What is your Catalogue?

Your Catalogue, also called MyCAT, is the location for all the files from your organisation that are included in your BizGPT account. This is the place you upload and manage all the files that BizGPT references when you chat in BizGPT. Only administrators have the permission to upload and manage data in your MyCAT catalogue.

Are You Chatting To Your Files When Using BizGPT?

No. The BizGPT AI engine converts your files into raw data so the files don't exist anymore in the way they exist in your computer.  When you chat the AI engine is creating context from this data to build your responses.  Each prompt you ask in a conversation creates new context based on the model you choose AND the preceeding prompts and responses in your chat.

Important - Cleaning Data Before You Upload Files To Your Catalogue !!

When you upload files to your catalogue, the BizGPT AI engine converts every word in each file to raw data. Because of this, headers, footers, page numbers are all included as searchable data.

We recommend leaving in most information, however if you do not want the BizGPT AI engine to include information such as your client, supplier, staff or other names you may choose to remove this from your files before uploading them.

Catalogue Components

Your Catalogue includes;

  • Folders - Just like folders on your computer, folders hold your files so you can sort and locate them easily.
  • Files - Files are the actual files used by BizGPT to search using our AI Engine.

Updating Your Catalogue

Your system administrator is responsible for updating your catalogue.  This includes creating categories and folders and updating files.

Changing File & Folder Names

You can rename files so they have a simple to remember name by all users in your organisation.  It is important to remember that once files are in your catalogue they are unique to the files you have on your internal system or database.

Deleting Files & Folders
You need to be in a folder to delete files in that folder. A folder must not contain any file if you wish to delete the folder.
