What is Private Catalogue (My Data)


Private Catalogue is a catalogue for each user. It allows users to build a catalogue for their personal use without disrupting the organisation catalogue (MyCAT). A user who does not have permission to manage the organisation catalogue may have access to Private Catalogue if granted by their administrator or account manager.

Ideal use cases include;
- Working on a specific project relevant only to the user
- Analysing file data for a project
- Using research data or other third party data not to be mixed with organisation data

Can Everyone Use Private Catalogue
You must have been assigned the permission to use Private Catalogue by your administrator.

How To Manage Files and Folders
Private Catalogue works exactly the same as your organisation catalogue called MyCAT. Administrators have the ability to see data in all users Private Catalogues. Click here to learn more.

Chatting With Your Private Catalogue
Step 1: Select chat from the top menu
Step 2: Select PrivateCAT from the models selector
Step 3: Select the folder(s) with the data you wish to query
Step 4: Select the chat personality
Step 5: Select Start new chat
