Quick Start Guide for BizGPT
1) Setting up groups
Groups allow you to specify which users have access to what catalogues and bots. When creating users, you will need to specify what group/s they have access to which is why this should be the first step in your setup.
From any screen in BizGPT, select the settings option in the header menu item options, then click on groups under user management.
Click on add new group on the top right orange button. You'll note by default a sample group is created with your subscription.
Creating a new group will allow you to name it, set the description of the group if required and assign members by ticking and saving.

2) Setting up users
Once you have registered and subscribed to BizGPT you will be logged in as the account manager. The next step should be to create additional users if applicable. If you are the sole user, please skip to step 3.
Select the settings button in the header menu items.
Click on users under user management on the left hand side.
Click on the add new user button on the top right.
Fill in the new user's details as applicable. If you do not wish to send the user an invitation email, simply untick the box.
Unticking the box will allow you to manually set the user's password.
Select the user's role from the available options in the drop down box, toggle if you wish them to have access to their own private catalogue of files, and assign them to the appropriate group.

3) Creating your catalogue hierarchy and folders
The next step in your setup is to create the structure and file directories, sub folders, and sub sub folders, for your internal file repository to be uploaded against.
We recommend only having 2-3 files in each folder for your bots to draw data from to enhance specificity and result quality.
To commence this setup, navigate to the header menu item of catalogue and select organisation for the shared business files you wish groups of your staff to have access to.
Upon creating your account you will have a sample folder generated. You can then create additional folders by select the orange 'new folder' button to create additional folders in your account.
When a new folder is created you have the option to select the parent folder if applicable, or make a stand alone example.
In this way, you can setup complex folders and sub folders to clearly distinguish and separate your file repository.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE FILE NAMES CANNOT BE CHANGED AFTER BEING UPLOADED

Once your files have been uploaded into the appropriate folders, you will need to begin creating your bots.
4) Creating bots and assigning groups and folders
In order to search your newly created files and run queries of bots, you will need to setup bots to this end. To commence this process, navigate to the bots header menu item.
Private bots are bots that have access to your uploaded catalogue of files only for use by those granted access in your organisation. Public bots can be placed on your website and used by the public to pull queries on your data. This distinction is important to note when creating bots and providing access to those outside the business.
To create a bot click the orange add new bot button on the top right of screen.
The first option for online or offline denotes whether the bot is available for your organisation to use or not. If you create a bot and wish to 'turn it off' temporarily as opposed to deleting it, you can set this as offline when you later edit a bot.
The toggle for not default indicates if when you go to chat, this bot will be the default one that loads up or a different one.
The AI Model is the unique data set and associated AI tool which will be utilised when chatting with the bot.
Enter the bot name and a description on what this bot has knowledge of.
When selecting the AI Model choosing OpenAI options link to the public ChatGPT tools. Selecting MyCAT links to your previously uploaded library of files and folders.
Stipulate how you wish the bot responses to be delivered - whether they're factual, balanced or creative.
Finally, select which user group/s have access to this particular bot to run their queries, and which folder/s this bot has access to, to generate responses to your queries.
An example of a finalised setup is shown below. Be sure to click the orange save button to complete the bot.

Once you have created your bot(s) you are now ready to begin chatting with the bot.
5) Chatting with bots
To begin a chat with your created bots, navigate to the chat item in the header menu.
The first step in beginning a chat is to select the default AI model on the top left of screen.
Clicking into the default AI model will list available options to select from.
Once you have chosen the model, you it will be pulled into the central right of screen with new chat underneath it. From here you select the bot from the top drop down, and the folders from the second drop down.
Once selected, click the orange start new chat button to begin a chat with the criteria selected. At the bottom of the screen you will see a text box with enter text here...
Clicking into the box is where you type your queries and prompts of the bot.
