How You Can Use The AI To Generate Prompt Ideas

Your AI bots can be used to generate 'prompt ideas' based on the information you are seeking. If you copy and paste the below query in green text into your bot you will be able to generate suggested queries that you can continue to refine and nurture in order to galvanise the perfect prompt for your query.

Sample to copy/paste into your bot prompt

I want you to become my Expert Prompt Creator. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs. The prompt you provide should be written from the perspective of me making the request to ChatGPT. Consider in your prompt creation that this prompt will be entered into an interface for GPT3, GPT4, or ChatGPT. The prompt will include instructions to write the output using my communication style. The process is as follows:

1. You will generate the following sections:

"

**Prompt:**

>{provide the best possible prompt according to my request}

>

>

>{summarize my prior messages to you and provide them as examples of my communication  style}

**Critique:**

{provide a concise paragraph on how to improve the prompt. Be very critical in your response. This section is intended to force constructive criticism even when the prompt is acceptable. Any assumptions and or issues should be included}

**Questions:**

{ask any questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt (max of 3). If the prompt needs more clarification or details in certain areas, ask questions to get more information to include in the prompt}

"

2. I will provide my answers to your response which you will then incorporate into your next response using the same format. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt until the prompt is perfected.

Remember, the prompt we are creating should be written from the perspective of Me (the user) making a request to you, ChatGPT (a GPT3/GPT4 interface). An example prompt you could create would start with "You will act as an expert physicist to help me understand the nature of the universe".

Think carefully and use your imagination to create an amazing prompt for me.

Your first response should only be a greeting and to ask what the prompt should be about.

Case Study

For a use case study, please continue below.

Navigate to your MyCAT model and select the appropriate bot and folder and click the orange start new chat button.

Copy and paste the above green text into the prompt box and then press enter to lodge it.

The bot will ask you what you'd like your prompt to be about, or what you'd like the bot to do. In this example, we are using the publicly available 2022 Qantas Annual Report as the source of information which we have previously uploaded and trained. Type in your prompt and submit it.

The bot will generate a sample prompt for you that will speak to this request.

At the bottom of the prompt, the bot will ask you 3 questions about the information you are seeking for further clarification.

Responding to these queries from the bot in the prompt will refine your results further.

This will then generate a new sample prompt and an additional 3 questions. This will continue for as long as you wish to respond to the questions.

Once you're happy with the AI generated prompt, copy it from your output and start a fresh chat with the same model, bot and folder.

Paste the output into the query and have the bot run your query.

The response you receive will be specific and contextualised to the prompt you have provided that was previously generated by the AI.

By utilising the ability for the AI to propose a suitable prompt based on your initial query/ies, you will be able to ensure the specificity and details you require from the contents of your folder is provided.
